Young man in Liverpool Crown Court for house burglary crimes
Burglary offender charged with the burglary of three properties and the theft of a BMW and Mercedes
A 22-year-old man is to appear in Liverpool Crown Court charged with three house burglary offences committed within the space of a few days.
The allegations against William Lynam, of Fazakerley, are that he broke into three homes in March and stole a number of expensive items, including two luxury cars.
On Thursday, March 10, Lynam is accused of burgling a property in Francis Way, Childwall. He stole the keys to the homeowners Mercedes and fled the scene in the vehicle.
Two days later, on Saturday, March 12, the defendant forced entry into a house in Booker Avenue, Allerton, and again took the homeowner’s BMW car keys and drove off in the car. It was later found by police in Greater Manchester.
On the same day, Lynam broke into a house on Manor Avenue, Crosby, and stole a number of valuable items, including televisions and jewellery.
Following a police investigation, officers were able to connect Lynam to the burglary spree and raided his Fazakerley home. There they found an amount of cannabis and a live bullet.
Lyndam has been remanded on police custody and charged with three burglaries, one case of number plate registration theft, possession of a Class B drug and possession of Section 1 ammunition.
He is to appear for trial in Liverpool Crown Court on Friday, July 8, when he is expected to plead guilty to the charges.
